What's your favorite moment of your career? 

Moving to CO with my husband to open a financial firm in Fort Collins.


What was your childhood dream job?

Astronaut  ( I saw the moon landings as a child on television and  was enamored with the moon buggy).


How do you spend your free time?

Snow skiing, hiking, family outings, grandchildren, bible study


What is your motto or personal mantra?

Hebrews 12:1b  "let us run with endurance the race that is set before us"


What’s one thing people would be surprised to know about you? As the President of a local nonprofit, I was challenged to participate in OvertheEdge.  I rappelled down the Energy building in downtown Denver.  36+ stories.  


Additional Information about Jackie


 Jackie Sartin has twenty years of experience in the financial industry.  She relocated with her husband to Fort Collins, CO in 2012.  Her firm, Wealth Strategies Group LLC, has a unique approach to financial strategies with an emphasis on getting financially organized.  Through this process, they strive to have clients feel empowered and confident.

Jackie is securities licensed with Park Avenue Securities.  She holds a degree from Oklahoma State University.  She studied engineering and worked in that field prior to having children.    In 2009, she was able to finish with a degree in Mathematics and Business.

 Jackie has a professional designation from the American College, RICP® Retirement Income Certified Professional.  The RICP® educational curricula is a comprehensive program available to financial professionals looking to help their clients create sustainable retirement income.  The rigorous curriculum helps financial professionals master retirement income planning, a key focus area not fully covered in other professional designation programs.  From retirement portfolio management techniques and mitigation of plan risks to the proper use of annuities, employer-sponsored benefits and determining the best Social Security claiming age[1], the RICP® provides a wealth of practical information for financial professionals.

 Using the most current techniques, RICP®’s identify retirement income needs and objectives and evaluate a client’s current situation relative to those goals.  Individuals who earn RICP® can provide  advice on a broad range of retirement income planning, Social Security, health insurance and housing decisions, and income taxation.[2]

 Jackie has been an active member of a national professional organization, Women in Insurance and Financial Services (WIFS).  The mission statement of this organization is to Attract, Develop and Promote women in the financial services industry.  She has served on several national committees and has recently rolled off the Executive Committee for the Rocky Mountain Chapter of WIFS in Denver. 

 She is the past President of TEAM, a local nonprofit that serves Fort Collins and area communities, to help encourage young people to choose a healthy lifestyle.  She currently volunteers on the Horsetooth Open Water Swim Committee.  The Horsetooth Open Water Swim is a one of the premiere open water marathon (10k) swims in the United States.  The swim has athletes from all over the world compete.

 Jackie and her husband, Ben Sartin have been married for 37 years.  Together, they enjoy golf, biking, hiking, skiing and all things outdoor.  They have three grown sons, two daughter-in-laws, and six grandchildren.  They also have a little dog named Easter Lily whom they rescued that was found along the highway and later arrived to them on Easter weekend.
