What is your current position?
Financial Coach and owner of Pennywise Coaching - Coaching is relationship based. Most of all, personal finance is PERSONAL. It is a process of establishing financial goals and learning skills to achieve the goals YOU set and develop good habits that last. Through private and confidential sessions, I provide encouragement and accountability over time to help my clients become more intentional with their money and feel more confident in their financial future.
What is one word that describes how you like to work?
What are you looking for from your WIFS members?
Genuine connection and support to build a strong business by helping others succeed with their daily money management. If you don't really understand what I do and how I differ from other financial people, you will miss the opportunity to help your clients and friends!
What's your favorite moment of your career?
This is a new career for me after spending 30 years as a Social Worker in child protection. In THIS career, my favorite moment is when someone sees that they truly CAN eliminate debt that has been drowning them and start believing they can change their future
What was your childhood dream job?
I honestly can't remember. I don't really think I thought much about work back then. Something around being a caregiver I think. I've always been one.
How do you spend your free time?
I love movies and live musical theater, however most of my free time is spent messing around on a computer ;-)
What is your motto or personal mantra?
It's better to ask forgiveness than permission.
What’s one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I met my husband 29 years ago when we were doing musical theater, Sound of Music. He was the Captain VonTrapp, and I was Maria. (Insert awwww here ;-)
